Rulesets & Disciplines
Karate
Kumite
Kumite is Karate sparring, where two competitors face each other using controlled strikes, timing, and movement. It sharpens reflexes, tactics, and the ability to apply techniques under pressure.
Kata (Forms)
Kata is the performance of set patterns of traditional Karate techniques against an imagined opponent. It develops precision, focus, and discipline – testing both technical skill and mental control.
Kickboxing
Point Fighting
Point Fighting is a semi-contact kickboxing discipline where bouts are paused and scored each time a clean strike lands. It’s fast, explosive, and rewards sharp reactions and accuracy.
Light Continuous (LightCon)
LightCon is continuous kickboxing sparring where fighters exchange strikes without full knockout power. Points are scored for clean techniques, with judges rewarding control, fitness, and ringcraft over multiple rounds.
KickLight
KickLight is a continuous kickboxing discipline similar to LightCon, but low kicks to the legs are also allowed. It adds an extra tactical layer, testing a fighter’s ability to manage distance and resilience.
