Results from Peterborough Championship Series November 2022

ToriKai had never flown its banner at a competition before November 2022, when we took our first official squad to the Peterborough Championship Series.

We are incredibly proud of all of our competitors, most of whom were competing for the first time in their careers.

Kaysie won Gold in Girls Continuous < 40kg.

Shihan Brian won Silver in both Veterans and Experienced Traditional Open Hand Kata categories, performing Sienchin.

Sensei Matt competed in Experience Traditional Open Hand Kata, earning Bronze, performing Sienchin, as well as taking Silver in his heavyweight fight.

Senpai Nath, Nick, and Leo competed in their relevant weight continuous categories and all fought valiantly, with huge heart and spirit in their first competition.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to everybody who spectated and supported our squad on the day, and in the run up to the competition.

We can’t wait to compete again at the Peterborough Championship Series next year, and having met some fantastic people and clubs at the competition and we look forward to seeing them again next year.
